Who we are
The Oasis Church in Wallasey is a part of the Elim Pentecostal group of Churches. We began fellowship at our current site in November 1995 and we have now secured our place in a busy local community. We hold regular services that are designed to encourage members of our local community to join us for fellowship and friendship.
Our work
Locally, we seek to bring blessing and service to the people who live near our church. We come from all sorts of different backgrounds, and there is a wide age range across our congregation. We enjoy being together, learning together and growing together. We have a vision to see our community touched by the power of God today.
Further afield, we support the work of local charities such as the Thompson’s Mission and we also support a Christian couple who are serving the Lord in Africa.
Our Meetings
Throughout the week we offer House Groups for small group study. Our House Groups meet in homes of believers from Oasis and the intimate setting of such small groups in comfortable surroundings can help allow people to ask questions they might otherwise find difficult to ask on a Sunday. Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits always ensure that the night is fully appreciated!
We also offer The Way of the Spirit, a further opportunity to discover more about God and the way He speaks to us in a busy world. The Way of the Spirit takes place at Oasis on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month.
